MOJŽÍŠ, M., MOUČEK, R., MAUTNER, P., MATOUŠEK, V. Brain Studio - Software for EEG Analysis and Processing . In Neuroinformatic Databases and Mining of Knowledge of them. Prague : Czech Technical University ; Neural Network World, 2007, s. 63-81. ISBN: 978-80-87136-01-0
Abstract PDF BibTeX

This paper introduces a computer application named Brain Studio. The ultimate goal of this application is to design and implement a new computer program, which reviews and analyzes recorded EEG signals as well as incorporates and executes complex modular structures of signal processing methods.

The analysis of evoked potential in children with developmental coordination disorder: Pilot study

ČEPIČKA, L., MAUTNER, P., HOLEČKOVÁ, I., MOUČEK, R. The analysis of evoked potential in children with developmental coordination disorder: Pilot study. Olomouc, 2010. ISSN:1212-1185
Abstract PDF BibTeX

The aim of this study is to examine using of EP in children whith developmental coordination disorder. The relation between motor activity and brain response has been analysed consequently. Device BRAINAMP, which is designed to measure bio signals (EEG/ERP/EMG) has been used. The EP record has been interpreted by medical doctor again. In the children with the coordination disorders all domains related to the disorders have been investigated by medical doctor. The occurence of positive wave with latency about 300 ms results from the analysis of responce running on stimuli S1 and S2. The negative wave with latency about 150 ms prevented the positive wave and it wave was perceptible after subtraction of time of reaction on stimuli S1 from time of reaction on stimuli S2. This component has relatively small amplitude which can be caused by small number of measured children. The component P3 with latency about 600 ms was identified. The results are very hopeful but the examination of larger sample of children is needed.

JERPA - integration of signal processing method

JEŽEK, P., MOUČEK, R. JERPA - integration of signal processing method. 2010.
Abstract PDF BibTeX

Jerpa is a desktop application, allowing the run methods for signal procesing. The program provides a graphical interface for signals visualization, execute methods, work with projects. Methods for processing in the system can be added as plug-ins.

Portal of EEG/ERP Experiments

JEŽEK, P., MOUČEK, R. Portal of EEG/ERP Experiments. 2010.
Abstract PDF BibTeX

The system unifies storage, download and interchange of EEG/ERP data and metadata. Various user roles are defined. The system is web based portal available through internet. It ensures platform independence and it is easy to use.

System for EEG/ERP Data and Metadata Storage and Management

JEŽEK, P., MOUČEK, R. System for EEG/ERP Data and Metadata Storage and Management. Neural Network World, 2012, roč. 22, č. 3, s. 277-290. ISSN: 1210-0552
Abstract PDF BibTeX

The paper introduces a system for EEG/ERP (electroencephalography, event-related potentials) data and metadata storage and processing. Since researchers have difficulties with a suitable long-term storage and management of electrophysiology data the presented system helps them to increase both efficiency and effectiveness of their work by providing the means for the storage, management, search and sharing of EEG/ERP data. The requirements specification including the system context, system requirements, project scope, basic features, system users, and data formats and metadata structures is presented. The database structure is proposed; upload, download and interchange of EEG/ERP data and metadata using the web interface are described. The system architecture, used technologies and final realization are described. Data and metadata search and user accounts including system security management are presented. Additional tools and structures as converters of data formats and semantic web ontology are mentioned.
